Closing Ceremony of Flimathon 2025

After an incredible 48 hours of creativity, teamwork, and cinematic brilliance, we are thrilled to announce the Closing Ceremony of Flimathon 2025 — the first-ever edition of this unique 48-hour filmmaking competition, organized by the Leo Club of Guwahati Gold in collaboration with Bluebirdfilms.in.

Flimathon 2025 has been more than just a filmmaking challenge — it has been a movement to celebrate youth creativity, social awareness, and storytelling with purpose.
This year’s closing theme, “Youth Empowerment,” shines a light on the strength, dreams, and resilience of today’s generation while contributing to two noble causes:
🎗️ Raising funds for cancer patients — in recognition of October as Cancer Awareness Month
💫 Encouraging and supporting specially-abled students through inclusive performances and creative participation

🌟 Highlights of the Closing Ceremony

Our program is carefully curated to blend art, emotion, and social inspiration — a true celebration of cinema and humanity.

1. 🎵 Tribute to Zubeen Garg
   A soulful and touching performance by specially-abled students, honouring the legendary artist whose music continues to inspire generations.
   
   

2. 🎬 Screening of Officially Selected Films
   Witness the finest short films created within just 48 hours by talented young filmmakers from across the region. Each film reflects originality, passion, and powerful storytelling.
   
   

3. 🎤 Musical & Singing Performances
   Young artists and performers will take the stage to entertain and inspire with their music and rhythm — celebrating the voice of the youth.
   
   

4. 🏆 Award & Recognition Ceremony
   The most outstanding filmmakers, editors, and storytellers will be honoured for their creativity and contribution to this edition of Flimathon.
   
   

5. 💬 “Voice of Youth” Interactive Segment
   An open platform where selected young participants share their journeys, creative insights, and the importance of storytelling as a tool for social change.
   
   

🌿 Youth Empowerment Stalls — A Step Towards Change

As part of our mission to encourage self-reliance and entrepreneurship, several handmade and craft stalls will be set up in front of the auditorium.
These stalls will be managed by young artisans and students, showcasing handmade products, artwork, and eco-friendly crafts.
Every purchase will directly contribute to youth development initiatives and the cancer awareness fund.

This initiative aims to create an immediate impact — giving the youth not only a platform to perform but also an opportunity to earn, express, and empower.
